PEDRAFORCA ADVENTURE PARK
Discover in Pedraforca Parc Aventura a lot of circuits and zip lines that run through the trees. Just 1 hour and 45 minutes from Barcelona. You have to overcome games with different difficulties in order to advance in the circuits, all this in the lush forests at the foot of the Serra d'Ensija and with privileged views of Pedraforca.
RIUTORT OIL MINE
The Riutort Oil Mine is a hidden treasure in Catalonia. It is located between Pobla de Lillet and Guardiola de Berguedà. It began to be exploited at the beginning of the 20th century when a French company decided to extract oil from the mountain with pick and shovel.
It is the only mine of its kind in all of Spain and you can see real oil falling down the stone walls.
It must be said that it is very humid, so bring warm clothes. If you wear glasses you will probably have to clean them as they will get wet as soon as you enter the door.
VIA FERRADA IN VALLCEBRE
To do the Via Ferrata de Vallcebre you must buy a ski pass that costs €5. Part of this €5 goes towards insurance in case of an accident.
If this is your first time doing this activity, we recommend that you do it with a guide. The guide will explain how to do it and in case anyone has any problems, they are equipped to help them down.
ARTIGAS GARDENS
Designed by Antoni Gaudí at the beginning of the 20th century. The work was a symbol of gratitude from the architect to the Artigas family, who housed him in their home while he worked on the construction of the Xalet de l'Catllaràs as housing for the workers and engineers of the mines that extracted coal for the Asland cement factory.
The Jardins Artigas gardens fuse nature and architecture in perfect harmony.
CEMENT MUSEUM AND TRAIN
The factory was in operation from 1904 until 1975 and today its remains are still visible, a symbol of one of the most incredible factory complexes of Catalan industrialization.
The Cement Museum allows you to travel back in time to discover the history of the factory and its surroundings. However, it offers a wide range of recreational and cultural activities: permanent and traveling exhibitions, guided tours, dramatized tours , workshops, etc.
CASTELLAR DE N'HUG AND THE BIRTH OF LLOBREGAT
Water was the first wealth of this region and, very especially, the water of the Llobregat, the main river and backbone of this mountainous country. With all the force of nature, the springs where the river is born spring directly from the cliffs that border Castellar de n'Hug, and form an abundant and rapid waterfall. The water crosses, lady and fres, agile and alive, places that only seem to exist so that it can make its way towards the plain. We recommend taking the route of the font del llobregat.
Castellar de n'Hug is a small town in the Berguedà region, known for being where the Llobregat River originates: Les Fonts de l'Llobregat. After a long winding road we arrive at this stone town on the top of a mountain.
